There is now a great deal of work at the Insitutute to use peptide aptamers,
engineered protein molecules selected from combinatorial libraries, to
dissect the function of specific genes and alleles, and to trace genetic
pathways. This work is funded by the National Insitute of General
Medical Sciences of the US National Institutes of Health. Here are
