Going (mostly) out of business

After shipping more than 2000 interaction trap kits, we have arranged that most of the common interaction related reagents will be sold by third parties. Some are now available from Clontech, and some will soon be available from Invitrogen.

We will still send out those materials that are not sold commercially, including relevant new technology (eg. counterselectable LexAop-URA3 and LexAop-LYS2 reporters) as we release it. We will also continue to send reagents to people who make a plausible case for poverty, or who consider themselves close Friends of the Brent Lab (FOBL).

Finally, we are still accepting, with much gratitude, baits and characterized preys (activation tagged proteins) for the bait return project, for inclusion in our large panels of proteins we are trying to use to assign function to proteins involved in cell proliferation.
