Mark has a degree in Organizational Psychology and Business, and has functioned as the Interim CFO and Controller for many companies as well as being the Divisional Director of Finance at Industrial Light & Magic.

His 20 years of diverse financial experience ranges from real estate development, performing arts organizations, hi-tech startups, not-for-profits, and retail.

Mark is on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco City Guides and was a professional trumpet player in another life. He has lived in Switzerland, Spain, and Turkey.

Mark is excited about being able to contribute to such a professional and cutting edge organization as the Molecular Sciences Institute.
